Adopted into His Family

Robinson/Trummer 12/05

I once was an orphan

Looking for a loving home

When I found a man

Who told me I was not alone

He was looking for a child

Just like me

To invite into His family

He wants to adopt me

Not through the worldly court

But by His blood

That He shed for me

He does not care

About the color of my skin

He does not care

If I am fat or if I’m thin

I’m now a solid member

Of His family

And have a place

I can call home

Whatever nation

I was born into

He still wants to adopt me

Through the power of His blood

I quickly spoke His language

When He adopted me

Praise you Father

For coming to rescue me
